Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?

No. You only need to provide six pieces of information: your gender, age, how you describe your health, whether you use tobacco, how much coverage you want, and what term appeals to you. Names, addresses and detailed health history are collected only if you decide to apply.

Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?

These are the rates each carrier provides for the health class you chose. The carrier will verify (and might change) that class during underwriting and will set your actual premium then. These quotes are for information only; they're not an insurance offer or a locked-in price.

What happens when I click Apply?

You supply your name, and your chosen quote feeds into an application form on the carriers' secure platform. You can pause at any time and pick it up later. All signatures are digital. Susman Insurance Agency, a California-licensed agent (License 0B75129), handles your application.

Will I need a medical exam?

The answer depends on the carrier, how much coverage you're seeking and what you told us. Carriers offering immediate decisions can often say yes or no without a physical exam if you qualify; each quote specifies whether the carrier requires an exam, might ask for one, or will move forward without one.

Is a longer term better?

Pick a term that matches when your family would truly need income replacement: maybe as long as your mortgage will take to pay off, or until your youngest is independent, or while a business loan is outstanding. Longer terms have higher monthly costs but lock your rate for more years. The tool lets you compare 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 year options all at once.

Does this site sell my information?

No. The quote tool skips your name, email and phone. We don't sell or share what people do on this site, and our visitor tracking uses no cookies. Check the privacy page for the full list of what we collect and who gets access.
